  • This allows consumers to easily make comparisons and decide which product suits their needs, and spares them from making a costly mistake. Given their inclination towards the budget-oriented consumer segment, it is ironic that my favorite IKEA mattresses, for reasons discussed in detail above, are the Morgongava (latex) and Holmsbu (innerspring) lines.

Altogether, this 17 ¾” mattress works great for any type of sleeper in need of a relatively soft yet supportive sleeping solution, and side sleepers just naturally happen to fall in this category. One thing I’ve gathered from the IKEA spring mattress reviews left by dozens of users though: this one will yield best results when used by a normal weight individual (i.e. one with a BMI under 25).

  • The main complaint, judging from IKEA Sultan mattress reviews left by consumers, has been that of durability, but provided you’ve got a (between 18.5 and 25), this won’t likely be an issue.

Fantastic and very through review of the Ikea Mattress range. We don’t have the exact same range over the in the UK but your review gave us the confidence to give IKEA a go. We went to the showroom today after trying the whole range, we’ve gone for a HOKKÅSEN which is a firm latex/innerspring hybrid. It cost£450 (approx $700USD).

  • Hi, I bought an ikea mattress a few days ago. It was rolled up in plastic, and when I unrolled it, I realized it really smells like toxic chemicals. Which makes me feel uncomfortable sleeping on it! I bought it for the comfort factor, and it IS quite comfortable, but after two days, it still smells, and I’m just thinking, what is this doing to my long term health, to sleep on something that smells this bad (and obviously has lots of wierd chemicals in it 🙁 ) I am not sure yet what I’ll do….probably try it for a week or two and then if I still feel like it may disrupt my health, turn it in for something more….natural I guess.

Ikea Mattress - Foam & Latex Mattresses Reviews

Overall IKEA mattress reviews are positive and on par or better than many other options in similar price ranges. Their latex and latex/innerspring hybrid mattresses seem to have the best reviews overall, and though they are more expensive, they are also likely to be more durable. Spring mattresses are mostly average in terms of comfort and performance, and though the IKEA foam mattresses do earn higher ratings, they still lag behind average satisfaction for memory foam.
